Valentine’s Day

If you’re wondering why everything is pink or red, the flower shops are doing a roaring trade and the restaurants are packed out with people looking dreamily at each other (or not) then it’s because today is Valentine’s Day. Leslie Nielsen, 1926-2010

Canadian actor, Leslie Nielsen, sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago. After starting out acting in serious roles, he made his name in spoof comedy films such as Airplane, the Naked Gun Trilogy and Spy Hard. Here is a Wikipedia entry with links to various websites:

Time Travel – Caught on Film?

Recently a film-maker from Belfast noticed something interesting in Charlie Chaplin’s 1928 film The Circus. If you watch the following film carefully, you may find a person talking on what appears to be a mobile phone:

Blink and you’ll miss it
