cartoon pterosaur? and giant sloth dung!
It’s not often one of our University pages qualifies for Thing of the Day, but we’re delighted to point to this:
which reveals that a new pterosaur has been named after the cartoonist Gerald Scarfe.
And going, urh, hand in hand with the paleo…. theme, how about the giant sloth dung at:

Presumably that’s a giant sloth rather than a giant bit of dung – though of course the latter, urh, follows – for want of a better word – the former!
