RAF Museum, Hendon

Yesterday TOTD was lucky enough to visit the RAF Museum at Hedon, London. We were able to have a peak behind the screens at their archive and thanks to the welcoming and helpful staff had a fantastic day. Highlights included seeing Douglas Bader’s flight log, seeing the wonderful collection of World War 2 aircraft and going inside a Sunderland Flying Boat. The RAF Museum is free to visit, just make sure you go for the whole day as there is a lot to see.

(TOTD day would like to thank P. E. of the RAF Museum)

Just had a look at this which we were told about obviously still the rearly stges of the battle but the mixture of mundane everyday concerns & high drama of action is very evocative.
